Who are Vocalescence?
We are a female ensemble, specialising in both the contemporary and the Barbershop style of four-part harmony singing. We are proud to be associated with the world's largest singing organisation for women - SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL.
Membership is by audition but you don't need to be an experienced singer to pass the audition. What you need is an ability to sing in tune and a willingness to learn. Our Music Director, JenHowson, is a superb vocal instructor. Under her expert instruction you will become a better singer and performer than you ever dreamed you could be and have fun at the same time.
Our winning combination is threefold. First, as individuals, our members all have a passion for personal excellence. Second, we choose cutting edge arrangements from some of the world's top arrangers. Third, and most important, we have one of the most talented and knowledgeable directors in Australia, Jen Howson.
